There is no substitute for the ability to be present to your creations. However, the same can’t be said for most artists and musicians. I have noticed that some artists and musicians are better off if they don’t have a computer. I’m so glad they didn’t remove it from our podcasting app, I would have had to buy a new one. But, if your internet connection is spotty, you may have trouble with your music, movies, and podcasts. The world wide web, if you will, is a place where you can connect to anyone, anywhere, anytime. A lot of people don’t realize that you can download everything onto your mp3 player, which makes it even more convenient to listen to music on the road.
But, it doesn’t mean that all of a sudden you’re going to be able to listen to every song on Spotify. The internet is wonderful! You can literally access any song on any website.

The reason that Spotify launched with ad-supported free web access is because it is attempting to be a free service for the internet-averse. Spotify says no internet connection is a problem for the majority of its users, but the company is now planning an updated version of its web app that will offer free internet access to users who can’t afford to pay for the service.
